Colombiamoda fair, one of the main events of the textile industry in Latin America, was held in Medellin on July 29th to 31st.
The first fashion show was Amelia Toro's one, who has designed clothing for Spanish princess Elena and Argentinian top model Valeria Mazza.
This fair gathered together more than 700 buyers coming from 24 countries, who enjoyed local and international collections for 2008-2009.
During the first Colombiamoda session, fashion designer Isabel Henao presented a collection baptised “Architecture of ephemeral things”, inspired by rivers and the wind.
Spanish fashion designers Custo Barcelona presented his fashion show at the end of Colombiamoda. His autumn-winter collection highlighted the t-shirts as the favorite fashion garment.
Daniel Hoyos, Caterine Macchi, Beatriz Camacho and aboriginal fashion designer Tule de Urabá took part of the catwalks. The image shows models from Wrangler and Fucsia, respectively.
